All members of the public interested in the conservatorship process are welcome to view the court’s online conservatorship orientation class.

Persons who have filed a petition to become a conservator of the person in the Imperial County Superior Court may fulfill the mandatory orientation class requirement by attending the conservatorship orientation class in person, or take the class online. OPTION 1 - CONSERVATORSHIP OF THE PERSON ONLY

To Complete the Online Video Program you must provide your Name(First and Last name), an E-mail account and Case Number or Conservatee's Name(First and Last Name). If you do not have this information, please go to Option 2. If you already completed Online Video Program, please go to RE-PRINT.


Your case # is on your court paperwork (Ex: EPR0000000).

OR

At the completion of each video you will move to the next step. At the end of the video program, you will be asked to complete a program evaluation. After completing the evaluation, you will print the certificate of completion. File local form PR-02 “Declaration of completion of Orientation/Training for non-professional conservators” along with a copy of the certificate of completion.

Pursuant to Local Rule 7.10 if you fail to timely file proof of completion of the educational program, the court may continue the hearing for a period long enough to allow completion of the program, deny the petition for appointment, or make other appropriate orders.

OPTION 2 - LEARN ABOUT CONSERVATORSHIP

In this section you will not need to add name, an e-mail or case number. In this section, you will not receive a Certification of Completion.

RE-PRINT CERTIFICATION OF COMPLETION

Already completed the Online Video Program, you can re-print your Certification of Completion. Please provide your Name(First and Last name), E-mail(Case Sensitive) and Case Number/Reference Number.
